PrimeCast ScreenGuard Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 September 2026

ScreenGuard processes the minimum Shopify store data needed to display products on paired screens and monitor screen availability.

Data we process

We may store the shop domain, Shopify authentication sessions, product IDs, titles, prices, availability, image URLs, paired-screen names, hashed pairing tokens, last-seen timestamps, billing state and outage incidents.

ScreenGuard does not request or store customer or order data for its normal product-display functions.

How data is used

Store data is used only to authenticate the merchant, synchronize the catalog, operate paired screens, enforce plan limits and diagnose screen connectivity.

Deletion and retention

Shop-specific application data is deleted when Shopify sends an app-uninstalled or shop-redact request, subject to limited operational backup retention required for secure recovery.

Security

Pairing tokens are stored as hashes, production traffic uses HTTPS, and production secrets are kept outside the application image.
